If you’re talking about the stereotypical Manchu influenced attire, the answer would be Tangzhuang. However, 92% of the Chinese population is Han Chinese, and the Tangzhuang can’t be used to represent them.

The most common traditional Han Chinese clothing for men is the daopao (道袍), a form of casual clothing that evolved thoughtful Chinese history.

Other than the casual daopao, there is the yuanlingshan, formal round-collared robe, the formal shenyi, and the formal xuanduan. These are probably the most common male Han Chinese attire that were the basis of other forms.

The Manchu influenced Tangzhuang and the other Han Chinese clothing are probably the most distinct types of Chinese clothing. I apologize for not being able to give examples of the traditional attire of all the 56 ethnicities in China.
